500 medical camps, 15000 PUR water sachets, and 5000 Hygiene kits with Health department and District Government

AHD organized Health medical camps and hygiene promotion sessions with health department and district government at district Thatta with District Health department during floods 2010 to provide health and hygiene facilities to poor families where AHD also provided them with 15000 PUR water sachets and 5000 hygiene kits to recover from flood affects.

WASH Interventions in flood at District Thatta and Dadu with District Government

During floods 2010, AHD mobilized community large scale by holding 300 hygiene promotion and awareness sessions with IDPs at Thatta in collaboration with CDD department. Beside awareness session, AHD also distributed 10000 PUR water sachets among IDPs for water purification before consumption.

Capacity Building of CCBs (Local Government District Dadu)

AHD is providing technical assistance and facilitation to Local government at District Dadu for capacity building of CCBs and local NGO on CCBs Management and structuring. This project is for 2 months and is being implemented with the help of DCO district Dadu, EDO CDD, EDO Finance and Planning, and AJWA CCB district Dadu.

Under the objectives of the project, AHD will design, organize and deliver trainings to all CCBs at all the four Tehsil/Talukas of District Dadu through Training workshops. Further AHD is also facilitating CCBs to develop projects and submit to local government for approval and implement for the development of their respective areas.
